A website design is taking someone’s content and putting it into a web page. The web page can be anywhere between one page or multiple pages with hyperlinks for you to click to navigate through the pages of the design. There are a lot of different components that go into creating a website design. The components that are normally involved in creating a web design are:

-XHTML and XML
-CSS and XSL
–JavaScript and VBscript
-PHP and Asp
–MySQL
–Flash and Silverlight

Web designs are normally always done by a professional. Someone who has knowledge on building a web design is going to be your first option to go to. Do not try to build your own web design and get disappointed over the results.

There are so many things that come into building a proper web design that some people take Webmasters for granted, when it comes to everything that they know.

The first published web hit the virtual world in August 1991. Tim Berners-Lee was the first person to combine internet communication such as email with hypertext to create the first ever web design. The first website was simple, with a header and footer, and a button to push to go to another page known as hypertext. But, as everyone knows over the past few decades web design has gone from simple to extravagant.

Everyone needs a web page and for the web page, it is always great to have a design or a theme that will introduce people to you and what services you can provide.

The internet has tried to make it easier for people who do not have a degree in web design to be able tot build a pretty decent website through the utilization of templates. These templates already have the design done for you, all you need to do is of course create your text, and no one comes to a website expecting not to read anything. The great thing about computers is you can come on and listen to music or watch movies, but for every website, there will be an informative article that you will have to read to understand what you are looking at.

Creating a web page design is not a simple task, there are several factors that web designers must consider before putting their finishing touches on any web pages.

-Controlled web design- A controlled design is when a designer controls the appearance of everything they are including into their web page such as width designations. One thing that has to be kept in the designers minds at all times is people have different sizes screens; you want everyone to be able to view your page the way it is supposed to be seen.

-The liquid approach- A lot of modern day web designers use the liquid approach when populating a web site, this approach allows the page to fit any monitor size. It’s almost like when you see the message on your favorite movie that says the movie was formatted to fit your television.

Well, a web design must be properly formatted to fit your screen.
